Diocese of Fort Worth Religious Interpreter Workshop \u2013 May 6, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTheology of Signs and Role of the Interpreter\u201d \u2013 Msgr. Glenn Nelson, Director of the Deaf Apostolate of Rockford Illinois is presenting a workshop for interpreters and the deaf on May 6, 2017<\/span>.\u00a0 This workshop will help the participants learn some of the technical specialized signs unique to Catholic Theology and the meaning behind their construction.\u00a0 It will also help inform the participant of the role of the interpreter of the Catholic Mass from a Catholic perspective. 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. .65 CEU’s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the workshop will present various theological teachings of the Catholic Faith, it is not intended to be \u201cproselytizing event\u201d and all may feel welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

CEU\u2019s have been approved.<\/p>\n

There will be a Mass Practical\u00a0– Theology of Signs and the Role of the Interpreter on May 7, 2017 <\/strong>\u2013 which is not a requirement of the workshop, but CEU\u2019s can be earned at the Mass as well. 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. .2 CEU’s<\/strong><\/p>\n
