Deaf people and Interpreters both have a responsibility to support and encourage those in the Interpreting Profession. What happens when a perceived conflict arises? All involved in the situation, Deaf and Hearing, should show respect for each other while trying to resolve conflicts in the profession. This requires acting in an ethical way as well. Conflict resolution can bridge the gap between the Deaf and Interpreting Communities.<\/p>\n

Please join Collin College for a public forum benefiting our Deaf and Interpreting Communities. Deaf people and Interpreters both have a responsibility to support and encourage those in the Interpreting Profession. What happens when a perceived conflict arises? Our panel will have representatives from our local interpreting agencies, Hearing Interpreters, Deaf Interpreters, Interpreter Education Programs, Interpreting and Deaf Organizations, as well as the Deaf Community.<\/p>\n
