The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities is currently looking
\nto fill a Community Liaison position. The person in this position will
\nprimarily assist citizens with disabilities with finding resources and
\nproviding information and referrals. This position will also entail
\nsome community outreach activites and other community projects as
\nassigned such as participation in helping to plan the Housing and
\nEmployment Resources Expo.<\/p>\n
Qualified candidates MUST have at least two years of work experience
\nin a community organizational or social work setting, such as
\nproviding information and referral services to clients, AND a
\nbachelor’s degree. Experience may be substituted for education on a
\nyear to year basis. I am especially hoping to find someone who is
\nbilingual. Previous experience in a social work setting providing
\nservices to people with disabilities is also a plus.<\/p>\n
