Now accepting submissions Art Competition for Texans with Disabilities<\/p>\n

Only Texas artists with disabilities are eligible to submit entries. For an entry form email gcpd@gov.texas.gov<\/p>\n

The deadline for artwork to be received is May 1, 2018<\/p>\n

The winning artist will be invited to the annual Governor\u2019s Committee on People with Disabilities\u2019 Lex Frieden Employment Awards Ceremony. The poster serves as a discussion piece for National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The featured art and artist\u2019s statement will be distributed statewide, free of charge, to increase awareness of disability issues as well as appreciation of artists with disabilities.<\/p>\n
