ASL CLASSES<\/strong><\/p>\n

American Sign Language Classes at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church: Come learn and engage the Deaf community through ASL. Taught by Linda Fenske of the Dallas ISD Deaf Ed program. Beginning ASL class will start Monday, October 16, 2017, Intermediate ASL on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 and Advanced ASL on Thursday, October 19, 2017. All classes meet for six weeks (skipping the week of Thanksgiving), and will meet from 6pm to 8pm in Oxford room 200. Cost is $50 for the six week session, payable to Linda Fenske. MOSES BIBLE STUDY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deaf Bible Study on Moses. We’ll follow the Adam Hamilton’s book “Moses: In the footsteps of the Reluctant Prophet”<\/a>. This six week study starts Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 7pm to 8pm in Oxford 202B. Led by Rev. Dr. Tom Hudspeth in American Sign Language. ASL students are welcome. Cost $5 for the book. “World Communion Sunday Concert” October 1, 2017. 6pm to 7:30pm. Come celebrate the unity of Christ around the world in this special concert and service of Holy Communion. Special performance by our Lovers Lane Sign Choir, African Fellowship praise bands, and Modern worship band. All are welcome.
