Houston Bass Club of the Deaf (HBCD) Contributed to two Hurricane Harvey Relief Group<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. contributed to 2 Hurricane Harvey relief groups. The HBCD Executive Board voted and decided to be part of helping out. The HBCD members were notified by the President. Receiving these donations are \u00a0the Deaf Hurricane Harvey Survivors and the American Red Cross. They have received from us supplies and a check. \u00a0President Northcutt stated that this is how we as a fellow Texans get together and work together to assist out to those that are impacted. We are part of Houston Strong and Texas Strong! Hope these contributions will help the communities that impacted the Deaf\/HH\/Deaf-Blind people and their families.<\/p>\n

HBCD has another donations coming very soon from the Rochester and Buffalo areas that are donating sneakers. A sport complex store from Maine is in the work to contribute. That is an example how we coordinate and work throughout the States being part of this efforts stated President Northcutt.<\/p>\n

Another request throughout States and individuals are wanting to donate monies. HBCD is handling these matters and has recently created a tab in our website under the 2017 Hurricane Harvey Relief Donation Form. Just hit that tab and it will take you there to print out a form. \u00a0HBCD gives out 100 percent from their contribution to the areas being affected throughout Southeast Texas. \u00a0All those contributed will receive tax deductible receipts. \u00a0We are exciting and we have just begun receiving checks stated President Northcutt. We are doing \u00a0these for them.<\/p>\n
