The HHSC Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is pleased to offer these free webinars for\u00a0service providers and consumers who are hard of hearing<\/u>.\u00a0 Participants are welcome to join one or all of the webinars, which will be held at\u00a06:00 – 7:30 pm CST<\/span>.\u00a0 These webinars will be presented in spoken English; real-time captioning (CART) will be provided for all the sessions.<\/p>\n

About the presenter: Rose Aird Minette, Communication Access Specialist, has a severe hearing loss and has provided services to Texans who are hard of hearing since 1995.<\/p>\n

\u201cAssistive Technology for People with Hearing Loss<\/a>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This webinar will expose attendees to a variety of devices which may assist them in the workplace or in community activities. The session will not cover hearing aid technology, but rather, will touch on other types of equipment for people who are hard of hearing.<\/p>\n
