The coach will engage in the home (with the family) to provide support and training that creates new opportunities for community engagement. Imagine Art is seeking a vibrant, active, reliable and committed employee that is interesting in supporting this family with a goal of transformation. We are seeking a commitment of 1 year. The schedule is NOT flexible.<\/p>\n<p>The Life Coach will direct the activities of the day, facilitating engagement and training for participation, working towards goals that continually increase engagement, participation and communication from the client.? The employee MUST demonstrate conversational skills in ASL. Ideally, they will have 1-3 years of experience working with people that are Autistic and\/or who live with developmental disabilities. Must be a person who is flexible (verses ridged) in the schedule, who demonstrates the ability to discern and access the client\u2019s mood, interest, desires and ability to stay engaged in the task. Must be able to make decisions, effectively communicate, direct others, coordinate activities and facilitate processes (signing up for programs, scheduling activities). The Life Coach will have access to a speech therapist with opportunity to explore creative communication methods (picture book, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Schedule:<br \/>\nM\/T\/F 8 am \u2013 4pm<br \/>\nWed \/Thurs 12-6 pm<\/p>\n<p>About Imagine Art:<\/p>\n<p>Imagine Art is ministry on mission to transform lives.
