Joe Cervenka<\/strong>
\nSeptember 22, 1936 – October 4, 2017<\/strong>
\nTemple, Texas<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joe Cervenka, 81, of Temple, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at his residence. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. Ann Catholic Church in Rosebud. Rev. Jim Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.<\/p>\n

Mr. Cervenka was born September 22, 1936 in Granger to Joe and Clara Gelner Cervenka. After his mothers death when he was three, his father married Alice Etoile and they raised him in Granger. He graduated from the Austin School for the Deaf in 1956. He married Jeraldine Gibson on July 16, 1966 and he retired from Wilson Art in Temple after 36 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary\u2019s Catholic Church in Temple.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his wife, Jeraldine Cervenka of Temple<\/p>\n

Two daughters: Mindy Pina and husband Phillip of Rosebud and Wendy Capell and friend Rudolph of Temple.<\/p>\n

One brother: Larry Cervenka and wife Ginger of Taylor<\/p>\n

Two Sisters: Linda Barnes of Fort Worth and Nell Dohnalik and husband Edward of Cameron<\/p>\n

Two Grandchildren<\/p>\n

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer\u2019s Research.<\/p>\n

Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.<\/p>\n
