Hello DAD Members and Friends:<\/p>\n
I apologize for such a long delay of sending to you my President’s
\nmonthly message. Some of you may have not yet heard of the latest news
\nof my situation. I come to my home state, Wisconsin, over a month ago,
\nto help take care of my parents. My Dad had esophagus cancer which
\ntook his life from us last June 19th.<\/p>\n
I am still here in Wisconsin to take care of my Mom who has
\nAlzheimer’s disease. There are some difficult decisions that my
\nsisters and I need to make throughout of all this. At this time we are
\ndoing fine. There is no way of knowing when I will return to TX. Yes,
\nI miss you all bunches and appreciate our support.<\/p>\n
I want to thank the DAD board for doing their best in keeping DAD
\nclubhouse up and running during my long absence. It has been a
\nlearning experience for some of them. Please do give them our “HIGH
\nHAND WAVES”!<\/p>\n
It’s awesome when I learned that so many people came on July 4th and
\nhad a wonderful time and enjoyed the potluck dinner. I believe that
\nthis is a great way to gather and celebrate! Preston, my husband, and
\nI were able to watch the fireworks in my hometown in our car. Why in
\nthe car? Well since we had so much rain and flood there were plenty of
\nmosquitoes out there that they could suck us up dry!<\/p>\n
