Interpreter Workshop Series with Sex Education in ASL 11\/11\/17 – Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second workshop of Interpreter Workshop Series with Sex Education in ASL will be happening THIS Saturday, November 11th from 9am to 3pm with one hour lunch break!<\/p>\n

Interpreting is a fast-growing field in constant development and we need to ensure that we stay current and able to adapt to an evolving world. Participants will have opportunities to engage in hands-on activities to practice their interpreting skills for different body systems, its functions, everyday questions, and procedures\/treatments. Ethics in health care interpreting will be addressed and discussed.<\/p>\n

In this workshop, we will be focusing on our interpreting skills in sexual health care settings such as sexual health services, agencies, hospitals, therapy sessions, etc.<\/p>\n

Time: 9am to 3pm with one hour lunch break.<\/p>\n
