Applications and nominations are invited for a non-tenure track position in the Deaf Studies and Deaf Education Department. Faculty reports to the Chair of the Deaf Studies and Deaf Education Department. The University seeks a person with high energy, enthusiasm and vision to work within the department that is in the process of programmatic expansion. The Department offers coursework at the undergraduate level in the area of American Sign Language (BA-ASL). At the graduate level the department has a Master\u2019s degree in Deaf Studies\/Deaf Education, with a thesis track in Deaf Studies. These programs are hybrid programs, meeting face-to-face on weekends with on-line work as well. At the Doctoral level, the department has a long standing Ed.D. in Deaf Studies and Deaf Education, which is being revamped into a Ph.D. with two tracks; one in High Education Instruction and a second in Educational Leadership. The proposal will be for an on-line degree that will require residency for the Higher Educational track of o<\/p>\n
