In June we had a wonderful training experience with Harris County
\nSheriffs Dept! The Deaf Community and the officers each learned a lot
\nfrom the other! Many deaf share their experiences with officers. <\/p>\n

ON Tues August 12, 2008, from 10:00 to 1:00, Houston Police
\nDepartment will be at HCIL- Houston Center for Independent Living,6201
\nBonhomme Rd # 150S Houston, TX 77036 <\/p>\n

HPD will listen to your experiences and talk about their policies on
\nworking with Deaf people. This is a great time to bridge communication
\nbetween the Deaf community and Houston Police Department. <\/p>\n
