Austin, Texas \u2013 October 19, 2018 \u2013 Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) welcomes alumni friends, family and neighbors to celebrate its\u2019 annual homecoming this weekend. The iconic 161-year old TSD campus is located at 1102 South Congress Avenue, in south Austin.<\/p>\n
The campus is already fired up anticipating which high school class will be deemed the most spirited and take control of the coveted spirit stick at TSD\u2019s homecoming pep rally, today at 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
A full day of events Saturday, October 20, the TSD homecoming festival kicks off at 10:00 a.m. with campus tours, food, arts and crafts, and carnival booths open until 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
At 1:00 p.m., the TSD JV Lady Rangers face the San Marcos Panthers on the volleyball court, followed by the Varsity match-up between the schools at 2:00 p.m.
\nPre-game festivities will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. on TSD\u2019s Rudolph Gamblin field when the Rangers meet the Geneva School of Boerne on the gridiron for the homecoming football game. Kick-off is at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
At half-time, TSD announces the 2018 homecoming court and crowns the 2018 homecoming queen and king.<\/p>\n
