Job Description<\/strong>: The Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) Program Specialist is hired by, is accountable and reports to the BEI Program Manager and performs highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Work involves planning, developing, and implementing the Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) interpreter certification program and providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, or the general public. May train, lead, and\/or prioritize the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.<\/p>\n

Performs other duties as assigned to maintain department operations.<\/p>\n
