The Texas Governor\u2019s Committee on People with Disabilities is seeking qualified applicants to fill the vacant Research Specialist position (job #2019-36, Research Specialist IV).<\/p>\n

The Research Specialist position is assigned to the Office of the Governor\u2019s Committee on People with Disabilities (GCPD) and reports to the executive director. The research specialist performs advanced (senior-level) research work including detailed technical analysis of disability policy issues. Work involves coordinating the development, implementation, and monitoring of specialized research projects pertaining to fiscal, administrative, or program functions. A successful candidate works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.<\/p>\n
