{"id":3903,"date":"2008-08-18T08:57:01","date_gmt":"2008-08-18T13:57:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deafnetwork.com\/wordpress\/?p=3903"},"modified":"2008-08-19T06:47:04","modified_gmt":"2008-08-19T11:47:04","slug":"viable-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deafnetwork.com\/wordpress\/blog\/2008\/08\/18\/viable-job-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"Viable Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Viable is seeking Representatives to assist deaf and hard-of-hearing<br \/>\ncustomers with installing the VPAD, Viable Vision and ViableVRS,<br \/>\ntroubleshoot networking issues and undertake other marketing-related<br \/>\nprojects as assigned. <\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities: <\/p>\n<p> Provide technical assistance to customers requiring help in: (1)<br \/>\nsetting up Viable Vision and\/or VPAD&#8217;s; (2) adding ViableVRS.tv to<br \/>\ntheir videophone; and (3) placing a ViableVRS call using both methods.<\/p>\n<p> Provide remote customer education and training on using ViableVRS,<br \/>\ndeveloping educational\/training materials as needed.<br \/>\n Troubleshoot hardware\/software issues as required to achieve<br \/>\ncustomer satisfaction.<br \/>\n Report service-related issues and interface with Customer Support.<br \/>\n Provide, on a escalation basis, second-tier customer support and\/or<br \/>\ntechnical assistance to customers, in collaboration with Customer<br \/>\nSupport.<br \/>\n Transfer knowledge and learning to first-tier customer support to<br \/>\nminimize number of escalations to second-tier Customer Support.<br \/>\n Disseminate and collect customer feedback for Regional Coordinator. <\/p>\n<p> Identify and communicate patterns and trends in customer usage based<br \/>\non observations.<br \/>\n Provide regional presentations and\/or workshops for Viable&#8217;s<br \/>\nproducts and services.<br \/>\n Build and maintain positive relationships with deaf and hard of<br \/>\nhearing communities, including but not limited to the following:<br \/>\nbusiness, education, government and community-based organizations<br \/>\n Identify regional community events for Viable representation, as<br \/>\ndirected by Sales.<br \/>\n Convey excitement and enthusiasm about the Company and its services<br \/>\nand products.<br \/>\n Promote favorable perception of the Company&#8217;s brands and offerings<br \/>\nwith customers through regular interactions and participation in<br \/>\nspecial events, as directed by Viable. <\/p>\n<p>Requirements: <\/p>\n<p> Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of Deaf<br \/>\nculture.<br \/>\n Ability to create reports encompassing installation and customer<br \/>\nservice related issues; interface with the Viable Customer Support<br \/>\nTeam and Sales Operations Manager.<br \/>\n Must be familiar with PC and videophone troubleshooting, networking,<br \/>\nrouter configuration and firewall issues.<br \/>\n Ability to effectively communicate in American Sign Language (ASL).<br \/>\n Ability to be flexible and accommodate an extensive travel schedule.<\/p>\n<p> Attendance is an essential function of this position. <\/p>\n<p>Compensation: <\/p>\n<p>Commensurate with experience and qualifications <\/p>\n<p>Mail or e-mail resumes to: <\/p>\n<p>Viable, Inc. <\/p>\n<p>ATTN: Human Resources <\/p>\n<p>5320 Marinelli Road <\/p>\n<p>Rockville, MD 20852 <\/p>\n<p>jobs@viable.net <\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>BETTER IP RELAY &#8211; EVERYWHERE! i711.com makes all your relay calls better.<br \/>\nBetter web calls.
