Yolanda Peralta Stockton, age 70, was born to parents Ramiro Peralta and Aurora Garcia in Laredo, Texas on September 19, 1948. She passed away on the morning of Monday, June 24, 2019 in Lucas, Texas. Yolanda will be deeply missed by her loving family, her devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who came to know and love her.<\/p>\n

She married Wallace L. Stockton, Jr. on June 21, 2001 in Lucas, Texas. She worked at the United States Post Office.<\/p>\n

She is survived by husband Wallace L. Stockton, Jr., daughters Lori Lee Whitfield, Lubbock, TX, Lori Stockton, Lenord, TX, sons James H. Whitfield, Jr., Lubbock, TX, Wallace Stockton III, Athens, TX, sisters Sylvia Cruz, Taft, TX, Sonia Robles, Kingsville, TX, Sandra Cavazos, Sinton, TX, Patricia(Patsy) Gillett, San Angelo, TX, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Yolanda Peralta Stockton was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. A loving mom and dedicated wife, Yolanda was the light of her family. She loved her grandchildren to no end and valued her friends she made through the years. Yolanda was a social person and loved spending time with family and friends. Her smile and laugh were infectious and brightened the darkest of rooms. Her heart was so tender and she gave so much to all she knew. Anyone close to Yolanda knew how much she loved her crafts.<\/p>\n

From making earring and knit caps to turning that special picture into a beautiful keepsake. Until we meet again someday, you will remain in our hearts forever. We love and miss you!<\/p>\n

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.<\/p>\n
