Obituary for Henry Clay Collins<\/strong><\/p>\n

FORT WORTH – Henry “H.C.” Collins entered the gates of Heaven on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the age of 93.<\/p>\n

H.C. was born August 13, 1926, in Fort Worth and also resided in Fort Worth. He was a printer by trade and has enjoyed many years of retirement. H.C. has been married to his lovely bride, Minnie Collins, for 65 years. He is an Alumni of The Texas School of the Deaf in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n

Those who knew H.C. will remember his infectious smile, that he wore well. He was a hard worker and enjoyed life. Throughout his years, you may find him in his shop doing woodwork or building the next project Minnie asked him to make, in addition to yard work and maintaining their beautiful, plush Saint Augustine yard. In the mornings, you would find him in his chair reading the daily newspaper.<\/p>\n

H.C. was quite the bowler. He spent many years bowling with Deaf Leagues in the community. His compassion for others was received by his family, friends and the community he served. During football season, he would be cheering and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n

You will be remembered always and looking over us.<\/p>\n

H.C. is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Clara Sue Blackstock Collins; and sister, Lavada Euvaughn Cooper and husband, George.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his wife, Minnie Collins; daughter, Tamara Walker and husband, Travis; son, Richard Collins and wife, Dinah; granddaughters, Karen Walker Munden and husband, Dan, Kathy Stokes and husband, Mack; grandsons, Kevin Walker and wife, Haley, Dwane Collins,; Rusty Collins; brothers, Bill Doyle Collins and wife, Mary Ann (deceased), Vernie Collins and Dollye; in addition to nine great- grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
