\nFunded through the National Science Foundation, DeafTEC is a resource for high schools and community colleges that educate deaf and hard of hearing students in STEM-related programs, and for employers hiring deaf and hard of hearing individuals. An academic resource of extensive information related to technical education and technical careers, including career awareness materials, teaching strategies for improving access to learning, and skill development in math and English. The DeafTEC model in targeted regions of the country, forms partnerships among high schools, community colleges and employment for deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
