Disability Focus Group for Houston\/Harris County<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHO:<\/strong>
\nPersons who are deaf or hard of hearing as well as their families\/caregivers. You must live in Harris County, Texas.<\/p>\n

WHAT:<\/strong>
\nThe Solutions Marketing Group will hold focus groups to understand the perspectives and opinions of the deaf\/hard of hearing community about the 2020 Census. You will be paid $100 for your time<\/strong>. The meetings will be held December 11, 2019 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM and parents\/caregivers will meet on December 10, 2019 from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM. The deadline for responding is December 4, 2019 to Cheryl Duke at 804-633-6752, 804-761-1048 text or cduke@disability-marketing.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHY:<\/strong>
\nThe census is important because the data determines how much of the billions of dollars from the federal government will be spent for future programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, special education grants to our schools, and other community programs. This census will have a vital effect on your lives and those of your children for the next 10 years.<\/p>\n

WHERE:<\/strong>
\nAt a market research facility located next to the Southwest Freeway (I-69) near Richmond Avenue and Buffalo Speedway with access to bus and Metrolift services. The location will be shared with the participants when selected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
