Participants will view the film The Hammer (110 min) as a group and fill out the film guide.\u00a0 After the film the presenter will lead a group discussion and analysis.\u00a0 The group will discuss the films implied meaning, emotional impacts, the films perspective on d\/Deaf, and what they can take away from this to apply to their work as an interpreter.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nTiffany Lloyd is a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelors degree in American Sign Language and Theatre.\u00a0 She later attended and graduated from Tyler Junior College with a degree in Sign Language Interpreting.\u00a0 She currently lives and works in the DFW area and holds her advanced certification from the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters.<\/span><\/div>\n
