Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) Advance Conference 2\/8\/2020 – Columbus, Texas<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cVoice of the Martyrs\u201d (VOM) is a non-profit organization that supports and aids persecuted Christians in many parts of the world. One of their many FREE \u201cAdvance Conferences\u201d is being held in Columbus, Texas (between Houston and Austin) this year on Saturday, Feburary 8, 2020. About 1000 persons are expected to be there.<\/p>\n

SCHEDULE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doors open at 8:00 a.m. on February 8, 2020 for check-in and viewing the resource area.<\/p>\n

Lunch is 12:00-1:15 p.m. at area restaurants (pay on your own).<\/p>\n

There is no charge to attend. There will be the opportunity to give an offering donation.<\/p>\n

INTERPRETERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some Deaf people have expressed an interest in going, and we are looking for help providing volunteer (pro-bono) ASL interpreters, hopefully from the Houston-Columbus-Austin areas. (Transportation can be provided from Austin, and some limited gas money for interpreters coming from other areas.) VOM exists solely on the contributions of its supporters and very little is spent on overhead, because most workers are volunteer. It will be a fantastic, moving experience to attend the conference \u2013 and VOM has said that any skilled volunteer ASL interpreters will be greatly appreciated!!<\/p>\n

DEAF PERSONS<\/strong><\/p>\n
