Seek the World at TCC 4\/2\/2020 – DFW<\/strong><\/p>\n

On April 2, 2020 from 6 pm \u2013 8pm, the TCC Sign Language Interpreting Program and ASL Club is proud to be hosting Seek the World!<\/p>\n

Calvin Young will be presenting on Deaf Awareness (please see flyer attachment for more info) and there will be a meet-and-greet afterwards.<\/p>\n

PRESENTER BIO: Calvin Young, a Deaf traveler, who constantly travel the world since the day he left his start-up business. Calvin founded his show, Seek the World, is to educate, inspire, and encourage the global Deaf community to be connected with others and courage to travel the world! Through his work, it carries numerous jaw-dropping videos, vibrant photographs, and bridges the communication divide between our colorful Deaf community. He aims to inspire, educate, and break down barriers to proving the <\/em>fact Deaf people can do anything as long as they have immeasurable faith in themselves!<\/em><\/p>\n

PRESENTATION SUMMARY: Come explore more about Deaf communities all over the world! Calvin will discuss the differences in the sign languages from various countries as well as his experience communicating with Deaf individuals in their home countries. Deaf-owned businesses and Deaf clubs will also be elaborated on in this presentation. You will leave more aware of the vibrant diversity of cultures within the world-wide Deaf Community.<\/em><\/p>\n
