Others
have felt intimidated or have had negative experiences that undermined
their confidence.

This two-day training will provide participants with sound
communication approaches and negotiating tools that will contribute to
increased effectiveness and successful outcomes. Participants will
learn about the various communication roles team members may utilize,
the seven types of conflict that occur in our communications and
interactions, and how to match their negotiating and communication
styles and strategies to the problem to be solved or conflict to be
resolved. The training will provide an active learning environment,
with ample opportunities for practice and “gentle” group
activities and critiques that will serve to build a supportive
communication community where we can learn and improve together.

THE PRESENTER:

Jamie Ruppmann, Trainer

Jamie Ruppmann has worked on behalf of children, youth, and adults
with disabilities and their families for over thirty years.
