I<br \/>\nwould like readers to know that the following segments are available<br \/>\nfor their use. They are meant to demonstrate the assessment and<br \/>\npractice of basic speech skills in the home, auditory training,<br \/>\nEnglish signing with deaf toddlers and elementary school-aged<br \/>\nchildren, effective instruction principles, pragmatics challenges when<br \/>\nchildren are deaf, and normal pragmatic development when children are<br \/>\ndeaf and signing. There are also clips of deaf children who are<br \/>\nenrolled in math and science public school classes that could be used<br \/>\nfor interpreting practice. All are less than five minutes in length. I<br \/>\nplan to post others in the near future both on TeacherTube and<br \/>\nSIgnLanguageTube. MP is able to hear a short a<br \/>\nsound and a long \u201ce\u201d sound consistently. She inconsistently hears<br \/>\n\u201coo\u201d as in the word \u201cshoe.\u201d Her mother sometimes says a sound<br \/>\nher daughter can hear after one that she can not so she does not<br \/>\nbecome frustrated.
