Gear Up for Success: Deaf Self-Advocacy Training<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nTime: 11 a.m. \u2013 4 p.m. Daily<\/p>\n

For young adults, 14-19 years old, who are deaf or hard of hearing and desire to know more about resources and tools to effectively advocate for their own communication access. We\u2019ll spend three sessions together to equip ourselves with the right tools and working to build self-confidence, self-esteem, self-reliance and self-determination.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll learn about the Americans With Disabilities Act, develop strategies to advocate for your needs, and know where and when to get the resources you need.<\/p>\n
