PETS are “important things”. Pack their food, water, medications,
\nleash \/collar \/license, and bedding. They will be cared for at
\nshelters separate from yours. Be sure to pick your pets up before you

Prescription medicine: Bring the bottles if possible. It’s also a
\ngood idea to keep a list of your meds in your wallet.<\/p>\n
Documents: If time is short, the government-issued photo ID, SS card,
\nresidence proof such as utility bill, insurance, and\/or wills are the
\nmost important. Birth \/death \/marriage \/deed records are usually on
\nfile with county or state government. You can request certified copies
\nafter the crisis has passed.<\/p>\n
Mobile phone: Bring the charger! <\/p>\n
