Casting for PAID INSURANCE COMMERCIAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are a local Los Angeles casting company currently searching for candidates to be in a PAID Insurance Commercial. The ideal candidates are hard of Hearing or Deaf Girls in the age range of 5-14 years old. Experience playing the piano (or another instrument) is a plus but not mandatory. If chosen, the child would be flown out to Los Angeles for the shoot if they are not already located here. Here are the rest of the details:<\/p>\n

All candidates MUST be available for the shoot days in the range of 2\/25 – 3\/1 in Los Angeles. (if out of state you will be flown out for dates)<\/p>\n

Must be available for virtual audition(similar to Zoom) in the beginning of February<\/p>\n

Compensation if hired is SAG Scale ($712 per shoot day) plus residuals upon making the final edit.<\/p>\n

We are casting a web & social media based commercial for a reader in a specific smart device that will transcribe calls into real time texts. If cast in the commercial, talent will be paid $500 for the shoot day plus another $1,500.00 to cover the usage of the commercial for 2 years. There will also be a possible renewal after 2 years at the $,1500.00 rate again. Previous acting experience is not needed for the commercial. The target audience for the advertising campaign is people in their 20s, 30s, & 40s so we can audition anyone in that age range and of any ethnicity. There are 4 roles to cast and we would love to have people who know each other. For instance, a real couple or family members or friends who regularly use signing with each other and possibly other communication devices. Auditioning is easy. We are asking people to email self-taped videos to us by Monday, June 22nd. We do not need high tech videos. We can accept videos made with smart phones. The client wants to film the commercial in the Austin area during the week of the 29th so casting decisions need to be made next week.
