The Medical Side of Hearing-Related Conditions, Causes & Treatments<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you a professional, educator, community member, disability services provider, parent, or individual who is deaf or hard of hearing seeking a better understanding of the various causes of hearing loss?<\/p>\n

Join Olivia in this two-part webinar series as she dives into this topic and extensively explores an array of hearing loss causes, including: genetic causes, birth defects, conductive damage causes, diseases, and more. She will examine what these look like along with corresponding treatments and creative solutions. You will leave this webinar with a better understanding of how multifaceted our hearing really is!<\/p>\n

About the presenter:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Olivia Rains, Communication Access Specialist, is an individual with hearing loss. Her work experience began as a Hearing Loss Resource Specialist with ODHHS. Her journey then took her to a nonprofit state program, Texas Technology Access Program, serving all disabilities with outreach and assistive technology. Her skills and background include training, assistive technology demonstrations and assessments, advocacy, presentations, networking, outreach, marketing and more.<\/p>\n
