The Texas Health and Human Services Commission executive commissioner will appoint members to the board to serve a term expiring Aug. 31, 2023.\u00a0<strong>Applications are due by 11:59 p.m., March 26, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">HHSC will consider applicants&#8217; qualifications, background and interest in serving on the board and will try to choose board members who represent the diversity of all Texans. For this reason, HHSC considers applicants&#8217; ethnicity, gender and geographic location.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please review the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/hhs.texas.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/about-hhs\/news-articles\/adv-comm\/bei-application-letter-march-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">linked application letter<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0find out who the board is seeking as representatives and if you qualify.<\/li>\n<li>After reviewing the application letter, and verifying you meet the qualifications for at least one category,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/texashhs.secure.force.com\/advisory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click on the application linked here<\/a>\u00a0to apply to be on the board.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\">It is preferred that you submit your application electronically, but you may submit the application by email, mail or fax.
