My name is Nida and I am the workshop chair for the Texas Association of the Deaf 51st biennial virtual conference this summer. Our vision for this conference is Transcend, from the self to the community. Our presentation themes are (1) Mind, Body, & Soul, (2) Art, (3) Business\/Finance, (4) Culture\/Intersectionality, and (5) Leadership & Communication.<\/p>\n

We are looking for diverse presenters such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA, different cultures, different religions, and different disabilities. The presentations will be one hour and you can either give a lecture or have an interactive session. It\u2019s up to you.<\/p>\n

Please submit your proposal at https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScYa1V0uf9ThtCv6kJxPxbTdQ9NHXU9svjO6LPcBMFtoUlEBQ\/viewform<\/a>. The due date to submit your proposal is Sunday, April 11, 2021. If you are selected to present, we will notify you on Sunday, May 16, 2021. If you are selected to present, we will provide three perks (1) waived conference fee, (2) presenter stipend, and (3) two-year TAD membership.
