Obituary: Dorothy Mae Krystyniak<\/p>\n
Dorothy Mae Krystyniak, 75, of Brashear, TX, died of a heart attack
\non September 12, 2008. She was born in New Waverly, Texas on October
\n4, 1932. She attended Texas School for the Deaf. She was very much
\ninvolved in the Catholic Deaf community in the Dallas\/Fort Worth area
\nduring the year of 1965 through 1975. She was a secretary of Mother
\nMary Society of Deaf Chapter 51, affiliated with the International
\nCatholic Deaf Asociation (ICDA). She became a born-again Christian on
\nDecember 23, 1976. Dorothy Mae was a former employee of Liberty Mutual
\nInsurance Company of Dallas. She divorced Otho Penix, a former TSD
\nstudent (now deceased). She is survived by her son, Johnny Penix,
\nmarried to Delene Penix; a daughter, Jenny Dahlen, married to Eric
\nDahlen. Dorothy Mae had 4 grandchildren. <\/p>\n
On September 16, Dorothy Mae’s body was brought to Cathedral Praise
\nChurch in Mesquite, Texas for a funeral service. Her body was brought
\nto New Waverly and will be buried at Elmina Cemetery, next to her
\nfather, on Friday, September 19, at 2 pm. <\/p>\n
