On Friday, January 21, 2022, Patricia Claire Earwood passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home at the age of 77. Mrs. Earwood was born on September 9, 1944 in Quantico, Virginia. She graduated in the Class of 1964 at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin. She was a member of Cana Baptist Church in Burleson, where there is a ministry to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She worked for more than 30 years in Austin until her retirement in 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a loving daughter, Mrs. Earwood was preceeded in death by her parents, Richard and Virginia Dromgoole of Austin, Texas. As a beloved wife and sister-in-law, she is survived by her husband of almost 24 years, Carl Alonzo Earwood of Burleson, Texas; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law: Jack and Evelyn Earwood and Dorothy Earwood, Burleson, Texas; Floyd and Sherry Earwood, Crowley, Texas; and Kathy Jo Earwood, Fort Worth, Texas; Nephews, Nieces and Friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitation with family and friends will be at the Greenwood Funeral Home, 3100 White Settlement Road, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held at the Greenwood Chapel on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 12 noon a.m.. Officiating will be Dr. Kevin Jordan, Pastor, Cana Baptist Church, Burleson. The service will be interpreted in Sign Language. Interment will follow at the Garden of Adoration, Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Seay, Sean Earwood, Shane Earwood, Bob Mullins, Rusty Freelan and Bill Sanford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gifts in memory of Patricia Earwood may be made to Samaritan Purse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
