Break out your royal garb for this 5K experience! We’ll provide the crown and you bring the rest and race to the finish line to be a part of the Fiesta\u00ae fun.

The Fiesta Especial\u00ae 5K and Parade will take place on the first Saturday of Fiesta\u00ae. Starting from The City of Windcrest’s City Hall, around the Golf Course and winding through the neighborhoods, you can display your Fiesta\u00ae Spirit.

Dress in your most Festive Fiesta\u00ae wear and help bring the sights, sounds and excitement of Fiesta\u00ae to the streets. Costuming is Encouraged! Dress in your brightest colors and adorn yourself with streamers and flowers, inflatable Scepters and Adorned Shoes for this festive 5K and 1 mile dash. The 5K event and 1 mile dash will lead out with the Fiesta Especial\u00ae parade following close behind. Kick back, relax and enjoy the Parade when you\u2019ve finished the race.

Special Announcement: Parking for the Fiesta Especial\u00ae 5K & Parade is located in the Windcrest United Methodist Church- back parking lot and Cross Roads Church parking lots from 7am – 11:30am at the corner of Midcrown & Walzem. Our VIA Trans drop-off is located at the CVS on the corner of Walzem & MIdcrown. Star Shuttle will provide a shuttle service up to the starting line and parade. Race times for our Fiesta Especial\u00ae 5K participants will be posted online at iaapweb.com. This 5K race is a timed\/chipped run. Competitive divisions for Runner (Non-Adaptive), Walker (Adaptive), Prosthetic Device, Pushchair\/Stroller, B\/VI – Guided Runner, Power Chair, Wheelchair, Sports Chair, Race Chair, Hand-Cycle, Recumbent Bike, or Adaptive Trike.
