Scott Darby Berry<\/p>\n\n\n\n

November 6, 1956 ~ February 24, 2022 (age 65)<\/gwmw><\/gwmw><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scott Darby Berry entered the golden gate to HEAVEN and meet JESUS on February 24, 2022 at the age of 65 from MDAnderson Cancer Hospital in Houston,Texas. His loving wife, Annette and Jason Berry were at his side. Scott fought a hard battle with brain and lung cancer, having many treatments, transfusions, and surgery along with his strong will to live. Scott was born in Dallas,Texas to Wiley and Challie (Dauterive) Berry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scott was the second oldest of four children. Scott graduated from Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, Texas in 1977. Scott meet his future wife, Annette Thompson in high school. They were classmates for four years. Scott was involved played in Junior Football, Soccer Team, Student Body Government, B.A.A., Junior Class Vice President, Varsity Football, Junior Favorites (Scott & Annette), Senior Class Vice President, Mr & Miss TSD (Scott & Annette), and played softball with DAD Club in Dallas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scott attended Lee College in Baytown,Texas and major in auto mechanic. Scott worked for almost 41 years as an auto mechanic in Houston, Dallas and Austin included for 13 car dealerships. Scott loved working on cars and took pride in his work. Scott was one of the very best, honest and trusted auto mechanic and has hundreds of awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scott is survived by his loving wife, Annette (Thompson) Berry of 42 years of Houston, his children, Jason Berry of Houston, and Heather Berry of Austin, and two grandchildren, Olivia Rose and Silivo Louis of Austin, his parents, Wiley and Challie (Dauterive) Berry of Caddo Mills, his brothers, David Berry of San Antonio, Andrew Berry of Rowlett, and his sister, Maria (Berry) Jones of Caddo Mills, and many nephews and nieces. Scott was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Chuck Thompson and Joan (St. Amant) Thompson, and sisters-in-law, Kay (Thompson) Dixon and Monica (Thompson) Johnson.<\/gwmw><\/p>\n\n\n\n
