Billy Ray Biffel Sr., 64, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008. <\/p>\n
Funeral: October 3, 2008 – 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Chapel.
\nInterment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at
\nMount Olivet Funeral Home. <\/p>\n
Billy was born May 24, 1944, in Deport to Albert and Ina McBride
\nBiffel. He retired from Radio Shack after 25 years of service. Billy
\nwas a loving father and friend. He had a great sense of humor. He went
\nto the Goodrich Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing on Tuesdays
\nand Thursdays for many senior citizen gatherings. He was also active
\nin the Deaf Action Center of Dallas. Billy was a longtime member of
\nLegacy Church of Christ. <\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Biffel; brothers,
\nWilliam A.W. Biffel, Buddy Leon Biffel and Barry Biffel; and sister,
\nPatsy Manning. <\/p>\n
Survivors: Wife, Cathy Biffel; sons, Billy Biffel Jr. and Buddy
\nBiffel; mother, Ina Hardage; brother, Bobby Dale Biffel and wife,
\nLenna; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Biffel and Jeanie Power; sisters,
\nMavine Meason, Martha Frame, Linda Jenkins, Brenda Manning and Beverly
\nHarvey; aunt, Joy Ellison and husband, James Thomas; uncle, Carl
\nMcBride and wife, Juanita; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. <\/p>\n
