Hurst, Texas, August 7, 2008 \u2013 Artisan Center Theater invites you
\nto this musical story of Job, originally premiered at Jubilee theatre.
\nArtisan’s 150 seat theater-in-the-round is located in the historic
\nBelaire Plaza at 420 E. Pipeline Road. The daytime box office is
\nlocated at 418 E. Pipeline Road. The show runs Friday October 17
\nthrough Saturday November 15, 2008. Performances are Mondays,
\nTuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm with 3pm
\nmatinees on Saturdays October 25, November 1, 8, 15. Reserved seating
\ntickets are $15.00 for adults, $13.00 for students and seniors, and
\n$8.00 for children 12 and under. Monday through Thursday tickets are
\n$11.00 for 13 and over, and $6.00 for 12 and under. Reservations are
\nstrongly recommended, and can be made by calling 817-284-1200. More

\nhearing by TCC Practicum Students Angel Harper and Jenna Hogue on

About the Play : <\/p>\n
In just one day, Job lost everything. What could anyone do about a
\ncalamity like that? Well, there is one solution. Just like Noah in
\nArtisan’s hit THE ARK and Joseph in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR
\nDREAM COAT, what Job needed was his very own musical extravaganza!
\nThat’s exactly what the late Rudy Eastman and his long-time musical
\ncollaborator, Joe Rogers, thought. So, they wrote a great gospel
\nmusical, THE BOOK OF JOB, for Marian and Rudy Eastman’s Jubilee
\nTheatre in downtown Fort Worth. It brought down the house then and in
\nits two revivals. But now, for the very first time ever outside of
\nJubilee Theatre, THE BOOK OF JOB is coming to Artisan. Directed by
\nSheran Goodspeed-Keyton, one of the stars of Jubilee’s previous
\nproductions and many of the other sell-out Jubilee musicals; it has
\nLloyd Harvey, our recent \u201cCaptain Hook,\u201d as Job and a great cast
\nof singers and movers. You’ll be wagging your fingers and stomping and
\nhollering right along with job’s judgmental neighbors as they belt out
\n\u201cWhat You Done\u201d (must have been pretty bad to deserve this)!!!
\nThis glorious, infectious, colorful, soulful emotional entertaining
