This year&#8217;s poster was created by Artist Bobby Benefield, a<br \/>\n14-year veteran of the Department of Assistive &#038; Rehabilitative<br \/>\nServices (DARS) and an accomplished artist active in the national and<br \/>\nlocal art scenes. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Benefield was identified by UNTWISE as an emerging leader in the<br \/>\nfield of rehabilitation. In late summer of 2006, he was invited to<br \/>\nparticipate in an experimental program that paired a community<br \/>\nrehabilitation provider with a vocational rehabilitation counselor.<br \/>\nThe Leadership Project resulted in several collaborations between the<br \/>\ntwo agencies. Two were featured in previous issues of the e-News<br \/>\nBulletin: a Career Expo in San Antonio, Texas, and a Housing &#038;<br \/>\nEmployment Resources Expo (HERE) in Houston, Texas. Mr. Benefield<br \/>\nco-authored a manuscript, soon to be published as a UNTWISE Brief,<br \/>\ndescribing his work in the Ft.
