Applications being accepted now for Texas Advanced Leadership and
\nAdvocacy Conference <\/p>\n

Dear Advocates in Texas: <\/p>\n

We are excited to announce a new statewide conference, designed just
\nfor adults with disabilities and parents of children with
\ndisabilities! This is the \u201cTexas Advanced Leadership and Advocacy
\nConference\u201d (TALAC). Thanks to a grant from the Texas Council for
\nDevelopmental Disabilities, the Texas A&M University\u2019s Center on
\nDisability and Development is going to conduct the TALAC conference on
\nan annual basis starting in 2009. <\/p>\n

The attached flyer contains detailed information about the first
\nconference on March 23-24, 2009, in Austin. Attendance is limited. The
\npriority deadline to apply is Oct. 15, 2008, with the final deadline
\non Dec. 1st. More details are online at http:\/\/talac.tamu.edu
