Eddie is an educator who enjoyed serving more than 40 years in the public schools and is now an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston-Downtown. He is a caregiver for both his 88-year-old aunt and his 90-year-old mother. As a result of his work with his mother and aunt, he now volunteers with both AARP and the Alzheimer Association. Eddie serves as a community educator and support group facilitator for the Association. Eddie is also a trained Hospice volunteer.<\/p>\n
