DEAF SENIORS OF DALLAS FORT WORTH METROPLEX<\/strong>
\nSPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

To all DSDFWM members, supporters, and subscribers:<\/p>\n

DSDFWM\u2019s Community Council will be held at Dallas Association of the Deaf (DAD), 4215 Maple Ave., Dallas TX 75219 Saturday, August 12, 2023. Our normal time schedule for all events is from 10:00 am thru 2:00 pm. We will make our best effort to keep you informed about DSDFWM\u2019s event schedules in advance. However, we will naturally inform DSDFWM members, supporters, and subscribers of some new schedules through flyers, newsletters, and\/or networks.<\/p>\n

DSDFWM will have a work session (not a board meeting) at DAD Saturday, August 12, 2023. The work session will have some volunteers who will talk about plans and events for next few months. The \u201cwork session\u201d means that volunteers would have their chance to talk with each other about plans and schedules, assignments, and make decisions. When we all work together, these individuals would help to add up to amazing accomplishments. But it\u2019s only possible if we can depend on your participation or volunteer.<\/p>\n

The volunteers will think about their plans, such as a brunch in December, day or field trips in the fall, crafts, social and games, and newsletter project. They look for some good speakers who would talk about making living wills, testimony wills, health care plans and medical directives, social security benefit and retirement updates, and a few more. Information about those activities and events will be given in flyers and\/or newsletter that will be sent to DSDFWM members, supporters, and subscribers as often as we can.<\/p>\n
