Auditions Open – NTPA Deaf Theatre – It’s a Wonderful Life<\/strong><\/p>\n

Auditions are open now for NTPA Deaf Theatre’s production of “It’s a Wonderful Life.” New and seasoned actors alike are invited to join us in telling this classic holiday story. Both Deaf actors and hearing actors are needed for the production.<\/p>\n

Director: Daymond Sands
\nAssistant Director” AJ Bates<\/p>\n

Auditioning All ages – age 5-adult. Both Deaf and hearing actors needed.
\nTuition: $99 for adults, $200 for youth under 18. Ticket Requirement: Each family will be required to sell or purchase 10 tickets to this show.<\/p>\n

Auditions: In-person auditions, Sunday, August 13, 5-9pm. Video audition also accepted – deadline August 13, 2023. (EXTENDED to August 27th)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Audition Requirements: Prepare and memorize a one minute monologue either in ASL or voice.<\/p>\n

Callbacks: Friday, August 27, 5-9 PM, if necessary
\nRehearsals: Sundays 6:00-9:00PM, beginning September 10.
\nPerformances: November 17-19
\nLocation: NTPA Willow Bend Center of the Arts (Plano, Texas)<\/p>\n

Synopsis: This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast.
\nWith the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n
