Deaf Day at Fort Worth Zoo 9\/16\/2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Fort Worth Zoo will host its first Deaf Day in partnership with the Sign Language Interpreting Program at Tarrant County College (TCC) on Saturday, September 16, 2023.<\/p>\n

Deaf Day is designed for the Deaf community and individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing to enjoy a fun-filled day at the Zoo with their families and friends. American Sign Language interpreters provided by TCC will be interpreting our zookeeper chats and stationed throughout the Zoo to allow communication access to all our guests.<\/p>\n

There is a discount code available for online ticket purchases. The discount code is deafday23. The event will be on Saturday, September 16, 2023.<\/p>\n

Every Keeper chat will be interpreted, there will also be interpreters scattered throughout the Zoo to help with restaurants, shops, ticket purchases, etc.<\/p>\n
