There have been estimates of 40-50 Deaf homeless living on the
\nstreets of Austin and they could use your talents and love! <\/p>\n
Here is where we need your help! We are looking for: <\/p>\n
1) interpreters that would be willing to come and interpret the
\nservice Sunday mornings 10ish-12:30ish for the deaf attendants (maybe
\nonce a month or whenever you are available) <\/p>\n
2) Deaf to come Sunday mornings (again does not have to be every
\nSunday just whenever you can make it) to fellowship with the Deaf
\nunder the bridge. What a great place to serve the body of Christ using
\nspecial gifts that you have been given. Mission Possible’s goal is to
\nhave one volunteer for every two homeless that attend and right now
\nthere are no Deaf ministering to the Deaf and just a couple hearing
\nthat sign. <\/p>\n
3) We have also started a bible study some Saturdays and we are
\nlooking for people to lead or just join us for that! <\/p>\n
