She had an innate ability to turn the mundane into the extraordinary, whether it was a family meal at On The Border or a road trip to a new destination. Cheryl’s love for travel was more meaningful to her than just the places she saw, but also evident in the people she met and the experiences she shared with her beloved partner, Justin Ashton, and their cherished daughter, Jazula.<\/p>\n As a graduate of Gallaudet University, where she studied Social Work, Cheryl was a guiding light in her community. Her career as an Elementary Behavior Intervention Specialist was more than a job; it was her calling. She empowered young minds to overcome challenges with the same determination she showed every day of her life.
