This transaction is found under \u201cMange Your License.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vo.licensing.tdlr.texas.gov\/datamart\/mainMenu.do\">https:\/\/vo.licensing.tdlr.texas.gov\/datamart\/mainMenu.do<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Providers are required to include the information about the Driving with Disabilities Program as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/capitol.texas.gov\/tlodocs\/88R\/billtext\/pdf\/SB02304F.pdf\">Senate Bill 2304 (88th Legislature, Regular Session)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The curriculum must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>How to sign up as a program participant.<\/li>\n<li>How to identify which diagnoses may be considered a \u201cCommunication Impediment\u201d that would qualify for the Texas Driving with Disabilities Program.<\/li>\n<li>Identify which form the student should have their doctor fill out and take to DPS to have \u201cCommunication Impediment\u201d added to the front of their Driver License or Texas State ID card.<\/li>\n<li>Explain where to find the \u201cCommunication Impediment with a Peace Officer\u201d designation on a Driver License or a Texas State ID card. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dps.texas.gov\/section\/driver-license\/communication-impediment-peace-officer\">https:\/\/www.dps.texas.gov\/section\/driver-license\/communication-impediment-peace-officer<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Identify which forms a student needs to file with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles to have their Communication Impediment or Deaf\/Hard of Hearing status included in The Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunication System (TLETS).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>These modules must be updated:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teen Course: Module One and Module Four<\/li>\n<li>Exclusively for Adult Course: Module Four<\/li>\n<li>Driving Safety Course: Module Four<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A complete list of resources can be found on the Texas Governor\u2019s Committee on People with Disabilities website.
