It\u2019s the 40th annual Texas Storytelling Festival featuring over 10 hours of storytelling with ASL interpreters live at the Denton Civic Center on March 6-9, 2025 in Denton, Texas. Recommended for ages 10 and up.<\/p>\n

This year we have Deaf storyteller Steve C. Baldwin, Ph.D., who will be telling on Sunday March 9th at 9: 30 am. He is a retired educator who has taught in five states, including 17 years at the Texas School for the Deaf. An award-winning writer, Steve authored Pictures in the Air: The Story of the National Theatre of the Deaf, I and II; wrote 30 produced plays, three documentaries and numerous articles; and serves as a community advocate.<\/p>\n
