Join us as we gather community feedback and discuss ways to improve access and support.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the public are invited to share feedback on these DHHS Programs:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Board for Evaluation of Interpreters Certification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Camp Sign<\/li>\n<li>Certificate of Deafness for Tuition Waiver<\/li>\n<li>Communication Services for State Agencies<\/li>\n<li>Driver Identification Visor Card<\/li>\n<li>Last Resort Communication Services<\/li>\n<li>Resource Specialist Program<\/li>\n<li>Senior Citizens Program<\/li>\n<li>Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program<\/li>\n<li>Training and Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DHHS is especially interested in feedback from those belonging to one or more of the following groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH)<\/li>\n<li>American Sign Language interpreters and providers<\/li>\n<li>Program contractors and vendors for individuals who are DHH<\/li>\n<li>Members of the public who are associated with or support the DHH community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What: HHSC DHHS Listening Session<\/p>\n<p>When: June 25, 2026, 3\u20137 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Where: Houston Food Bank<br \/>\n535 Portwall St.<br \/>\nHouston, Tx 77029<\/p>\n<p>Who: Open to the public<\/p>\n<p>American Sign Language interpretation and CART services will be provided.
