DHHS opens training to higher certified interpreters!<\/p>\n

The texas DARS Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services has several slots open for the skill development training in Big Spring August 6-11. DHHS has decided to open the training to Level III and IV BEI certified interpreters. <\/p>\n

Instructors for this week long intensive skill building workshop include Lauri Metcalf, Mark Seeger, Charles Trevino, Marcus Myers, Leslie Knowles, Jeff Anderson, Marcie Murphy, Gino Gouby. The training is co-sponsored by Sorenson Media, CSD of Texas and SWCID. <\/p>\n

If you are interested in attending it\u2019s important to email Randi Turner at randi.turner@dars.state.tx.us or call 512-407-3250, the go to the link below and complete the registration form and FAX it to 512-407-3299, then mail the hard copy and check to DHHS PO Box 12904, Austin, Texas 78711.<\/p>\n
